almost x-mas and 2010 rolling in ::: time for a review 2009.
my way was to fuse some "successful" maps i made this year into a single one ::: taking bits and parts of DuPi, OCut, PiCo Bello and CrissCross and combining them into a single CTF, 2 shots and non-jumping map. adding some fancy colors (its x-mas ;-)) and hoping you'll like it ...
but be aware ::: lots and lots of rico's!

(a FFA version is in work and will be hosted at 5138)

it is distributed under the license of GNU LGPL http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.html

If it was christmas themed I didnt notice, but that's okay because I love the map design ;)

thx for your comments!
(the "x-mas themed" was just an excuse for the fancy coloring ::: but it needed some differentiation for a better overview and showing the elements i used from the other maps )

i was trying to vamp up the screenies with rendering the map as an obj-file :roll:

wow, I really like this new screenshots.
Really good map-compilation - very playable.

It is a skill map and you need to learn how to dodge and use your shots effectivly or else you won't live long. I'm not saying that jumping is bad, it's just that you should only jump if you cannot, at all, get out of the way of the incoming bullets.

by the way ::: try this map (slightly modified) with a V3 client on 001.bzflag.fr:5198

thanks to trepan we have a lua-rule included that makes a shot deadly only if it ricochets of a wall, pyra or is fired through a tele!
real fun and challenging to play and shows just a fraction of what lua can do! i hope that that V3 is coming soon!!!
