My ultimate map | The Lost City

Post by ducatiwannabe » Sun Nov 21, 2004 4:37 am

This is one of my best (I think :/ I'm open to critics!)

The Lost City has fighting for every person I can think of...

Hope you enjoy!

Well, I checked out more of your maps, and to my pleasant surprise all of them have quite a clean design. No mismatched cubes and stuff, very accurate work!

Although I think this is a cool map, I like your map Eroah CTF still better. Gameplay's more smooth and suitable for newbies and veterans alike. The Lost City is really a map for experts, with all the 45 degree shot deflections, tough-to-jump-and-tall structures....:-) You get the drift, although it's very playable and definitely challenging!!

I like the symmetries in it; Dutchrai's got a point, that it may be for experts. On the other hand, it'd probably be good for lots of players, there being lots of structure to get involved with. I didn't check the block count, if it's high that might create a lag issue - but at first glance it didn't look like it'd be too high. I think it'd be a lot of fun.

I tried to play it at the server you mentioned, but there was nothing running there, at least that I could see.

The server has been down a few days, it should be up very soon.
