My first real map.
It took me a long time to figure things out. Thank you to everyone who helped. If anyone would like to host it please let me know. I would like very much to play it on a public server.

So you don't appreciate the fact that this guy has spent HOURS learning a complex, sophisticated 3D modellor just to make a map for the rest of us?Brennen The Great wrote:nice except i like servers that use no coding and are made on bzedit.
You don't appreciate the fact that me and some others hand code our maps entirely from scratch when we could use a lame program like bzedit?
I hate those who use bzedit, it feels like cheating.

Splendor in simplicity, like the mofo map. Of course, the "simple" factor is kinda killed by the fact that you meshed everything.
My only suggestion would be to define the "inside" of all the objects, because as it is right now, I can use an OO flag to drive inside a box and shoot out.

Optimism is just a milder alternative to denial.

Man! are you crazy?
I started the design work on iBZEdit already.
Your gona love it!
But, I'm not going to start coding untill I'm through with my current project. Then there's the stuff like nib's and OpenGL with an Aqua feel. I'm going to have fun with it.
I'm going to create a format for specifing objects. So you can add objects as there made by the devs...
Unless the devs come out with a different style than what they currently have for the map format I can add objects in a few seconds without extra coding.

anyone can use my maps.. they are not perfect but working on that too
i will have a new map soon. here is a screen shot of what it will look like.
i want to make it a ctf map with a twist. one team defends flag while the other team gose after it. team would be lopsided. more attackers then defenders. but defenders will have better camping spots. some ppl like to camp and some like the action of attacking. so dependeing on what you like you can pick what team you like. i also may need help with the conf. file to make sure it runs like i want it too.

Wings? Complex? Sophisticated? Wings is not complex or that sophisticated! Yea it takes a couple hours to understand it but, it is not complex or that sophisticated.CannonBallGuy wrote:So you don't appreciate the fact that this guy has spent HOURS learning a complex, sophisticated 3D modellor just to make a map for the rest of us?Brennen The Great wrote:nice except i like servers that use no coding and are made on bzedit.
BTW Great map badplayer and i am not saying you are a bad modeler
1. I didn't mention wings.me1 wrote:Wings? Complex? Sophisticated? Wings is not complex or that sophisticated! 2. What you said is still pretty much irrelevant anyway.
3. Do you want me to further explain my point?
