Okay, here it is, warts and all. The Collaborative effort from BIYA, Spazzy McGee, Purple Panzer, and ClayOgre.

First we commence with the introductory trailer created by BIYA. Then the screenies....THERE WILL NO CLICKING OF THE MOUSE UPON THE SCREENIE LINKS UNTIL THE VIEWING OF THE INTRODUCTORY TRAILER HAS BEEN COMPLETED! CAPISCHE? Our man Vito will be standing by with his violin case to deal with any misbegotten miscreant who, in a fit of delirious anticipation violates this procedure.

The Map itself

Okay, for starters, be warned, this thing is BIG, bzfs will take a moment or two to digest it. It is also very heavy on texture downloads. You will need to modify your download access file (located in your My Bzflag folder for windows users, and in .bzf for Linux...can't speak for mac), and comment out the line starting with the word "deny". If you don't you are gonna see a whole lotta white nothin'. At a guess, I would say that there are something like 30+ custom textures in this thing. FPS is ...well, the less said about it, the better. So there are two different versions of the map attached. One has all the corners together, and the other has them separated with an additional .bzw called collaborator-finito which calls them all with include statments. However, some people have had problems running this version, so if it gives you fits, try the one with all corners.

The first file listed is the one with separate corners.

Where's the video?

Oh yeah, and the thumbnails kind of ruin it :)

Already fixed it...pasted the wrong code fragment.

And I hate it when people post really huge images inline and I don't like attached pics at the end, since you only get so many attachments.....so we got thumbnails.

Yes, you may...but what's in the case, then, if not something with some serious firepower? And DO try to look intimidating (this means keep all "cutesie" tattoos covered up and ixnay on the bunny slippers....)

It said finshed in the trailer...
I'll be able to host it... I'll use the PurplePanzer.no-ip.org redirect.
This is the only map so far to slow down my shiny new intel mac, I can only imagine the FPS on slower machines...

Try removing the noclusters keyword from Purple Panzer's
section of the map. That should give you a decent fps increase
(esp. if you're using fast radar modes). There are a number of other
improvements that could be made (groupAlpha for translucent
materials, changing the octree settings, etc...)

P.S. You might also want to try smoothing the lighting normals
and using smoothbounce for the grassy sections in PP's
section (unless they're supposed to look jagged).

I get:

Cannot load texture: bricks_025a
Cannot load texture: C:\Documents and Settings\Tanner S\My Documents\My BZFlag Files\cache\http\images.bzflag.org\purplepanzer\petain.png

Other wise it looks very nice. I like Clay's fence for some reason :P
