Modified Viper

Here is the two castles modified into four quadrants. Please give me suggestions.

I updated the map just now. Its in the attachment. How can a map have bugs? The new map has some textures added and a moat. Let me know if u like it. Please leave suggestions.

so is it 4 way (four teams) or just four sections?

I like the idea of more gates....but i think ther needs to be more platforms along the wall...I find that make the game much more interesting.

Looking very interesting.

And yeah, this map is just a diagonal two castles, which I find is a very cool idea. Good job, RC.

I made a fourway viper map, but it wasn't ever really that popular.

The only problem i'm having is making the moat texture not stretch out. I want it like viper. I'm trying to figure out how to do it. Someone please help.

Wow Nice job you did on the map. Thats the only thing i dont know how to do :). Is to put arcs and stuff into the map. Better learn it. :D

If anyone could host it, that would be great. My computer doesn't have a very fast connection so I can't do it.

I'm in the process of coming out with a new map. It's a surprise. It'll come out in a little while. Not to soon. I'm just beginning it.

You've gone and genericized (Couldn't think of the verb to make something generic) The Two Castles. One of the many things that made The Two Castles fun was the ability to get into unique positions by many different methods. For instance, spawning at the base, going forward, and doing a series of jumps to perch yourself on the middle wall, giving you a unique shooting position. There are many other of these examples, but I don't have the time to list them all. On your map, there is no way to jump from the base to the wall, there is no prolonged cover for a flag carrier after spawning at the base to bring the flag to the cake (Once you're outside the base, you're on your own), etc. Now I know that the creator was hard pressed to squeeze some originality into this map, and they did a good job, but it is not The Two Castles, and it should not and will not be played on as if it is.

Ok dude. Thanks for voicing your opinion. It's my first map, give me a break. I wasn't trying to intrude on the maker of the two castles. Zeesh.

Ok dude. Thanks for voicing your opinion. It's my first map, give me a break. I wasn't trying to intrude on the maker of the two castles. Zeesh.

Notice that this is a modification of Viper, not meant to be the same way. I think the map is interesting, but it is much easier to be played with two teams and two castles. Good job, though. I have tried a few four castles versions myself. :)
