DrawInfo

Post by Faker » Tue Jul 24, 2018 8:29 pm

Maybe this is somewhere and I am not finding it here.
Where is a tutorial, or an up to date guide on what steps to take and how to then implement drawinfo?

Model tool can convert an obj into drawinfo. It’s kind of super complex so there isn’t a tutorial.

Hopefully the threads listed below provide a bit of insight into drawinfo.
Generally very few maps use drawinfo, and those that do tend to do it really well.

However if drawInfo is too complicated/doesn't work, something which might be a viable alternative would be dynamic color.
This is referenced by these two threads: DrawInfo help and Making .bzw play animations.
