making textures on bzedit

Post by WarPig »

ok...im making a 4team ctf map. and at the moment its very hard to tell which base is which. i was hoping to chnage the colours of the walls to make it obvious to players where each base was. some guys have suggested how to do it but it never seems to work

Can any of you help??

P.S im a bit of a n00b, so bear that in mind whilst replying
thanks

bzedit only supports the mapping features found in version 1.10 of bzflag. It does not support any of the features added with 2.0. This includes the use of user textures, materials, and meshes.

You may want to look into Blender and the BZW plug-in for it, it supports all the 2.0.x mapping features.

by using the blender BZW plug-in.

there are posts that contain instructions and links to tutorials in the map editors section.
