Mesh Pyramid

Post by Legolas_ » Sun Jun 03, 2007 9:34 pm

If you have a meshpyr, can you add a different texture to the different sides like you can a meshbox?

example:

Code: Select all

meshbox
name meshy
outside matref my_cool_wall
top matref my_cool_roof
end
...Will apply my_cool_wall to all sides except the top, and my_cool_roof to the top.

Can you do something similar to that with a mesh pyramid?

Code: Select all

meshpyr
name meshy2
outside matref my_cool_pyrawall
bottom matref my_cool_basepyratexture
end
EDIT: or would this just be done by a regular mesh?

Textures on meshpyrs always get all stretched out and weird. You'd probably be better off making one yourself out of mesh.

Hmm my blender export doesn't seem to work.

Can someone paste in the code for a pyramid?

Thanks a bunch!

Edit: got it

Code: Select all
