I have made a map that is basically a V boxed in, the problem is i cant stop players from lagging thru the walls. I know that lag will always be a problem, but lag just over 100's will cause passthrough. Any Suggestions?

Here is some Screenshots of the map:

Thanks

Put a deadly mesh/meshbox on the floor outside the playing area.

I think there's also a plugin that was used for the Dodgeball map that was used a while back to prevent this. Something like the server kills when it detects the F5 cheat, which is basically lagging through walls. Maybe talk to Winny or Theme97 to see if you can get a hold of that if you'd rather use it than what's suggested.

That plugin was made specially for the dodgeball map, and I am not 100% sure how theme wrote it... You'd need to do some serious modding to make it work. Also, the "cheat" detector code in it was very buggy, and most of the time would accuse someone wrongly...

I'd just stick with a deadly mesh, or make the walls thicker.

Why does the wallwalking Cheat even exist?

I don think you understand- that "cheat" is more of a "glitch", and in lame-mens termes all it is is pressing f5 to temorarily pause and "zone" through to the other side, and for certain walls, textures, and meshboxes, the glitch is hard to stop....

Close. f5 takes a screen shot therefore inducing lag. not really "temporarily pausing it."

Of course, but note that he only joined a couple months ago, so I tried to make it a little more understandable

BTW: if it isnt pausing, then why does the t4 bot say:
"A Looney Kumquat paused"
"A Looney Kumquat Resumed"
after I pressed f5?

my bad. by the newest version you mean 2.0.9? i don't have that so i guess that is why. what is the reason that it pauses temporarily in the new version? and off topic where do i get the new version... i'm going to go look right now.
