blender and .obj files to .bzw
hi all, i use blender to view this .obj i made and when i export it back to .obj and use modeltool to convert it into a .bzw it only shows the outside of this, but what i want is and inside that has a face, how do i get both to appear on a object?

make sure the inside is textured AND is right-side-in...
i had similar problem in wings (some mesh faces were wrong-side-out and not texturised)
hope that helps

well i know the problem here, the way a .obj file makes faces is through connecting both sides of a mesh with only one set of vertice points, but bzflag on the other hand need two sets or a different order of vertices, but this is a huge file, about 1.2mb in size (thats alot of lines) so i dont know if this is possible.

Re: blender and .obj files to .bzw
A quick way to achieve this is to select the faces you want double sided, duplicate, (Shift-D, then enter, don't move mouse), then flip the normals. (W, then choose flip normals). When you duplicate faces the new faces are selected, not the ones you duplicated. This will give you inside and outside textured faces with the correct winding.

if it's just a visual mesh, noculling.
