BzfEd on Ubuntu 10.10

Post by fox in the fog »

It seems to me that Bzworkbench does not really want to install and work correctly, so I thought I need to try another software that is specifically for Linux: BzfEd
But on Ubuntu 10.10 a file like: example.tar.gz I do not know exactly how to install it (I had download the file here: http://www.familybusinesssoftware.com/i ... &Itemid=54), I found that I have to give to the terminal commands like "./autogen.sh ./configure make". But nothing works correctly... How install it? Is there on the web a package.deb of BzfEd?
Should I resign or I still have a chance??

I'm assuming you actually extracted the BzfEd source archive, but if not... do that.

Also, it would be useful to get help with why BZWorkBench isn't working for you. That is designed to be the editor to replace all other editors.
