Tele Trouble

Post by RPG »

In my map, I have a few teleporters. They havn't changed since the 1.10.8 version of the map. However, now in 2.0, when I approach a tele and try to go through it, I just hit the teleporter and stop. I go full-force forward but don't get anywhere. The screen is pitch-yellow. To get through the tele, I have to jump just before I hit it and BAM I go through. This happens to many of my teleporters. Even with tiny it happens. Is there a way to fix this it's really annoying.

possibly whats happening is your tele is partially
inside a box..either resting on it or too close to a box...
remember if a platform is 100 units up and is 1 unit thick
the tele must be 101 units up...

also it may also be that that with the new transparency
option that if the tele is doing the above it doesnt
understand it....dw had a map that had this i move the
tele just a hair and it worked fine....

also with the new tele style the label need to be exactly
correct....

IE....

teleporter /blah
xyz
.
.
end

link
from /blah:b
to /blah:f
end

the b = back the f=front

for some reason it dont always like the "/"
so you have to remove it...

at least so far thats what i see

i tink so... oh no they changed it back, u used to be able to define where a teleporter side went to in the teleporter, i liked that better but i can now see how that would make difficulties (total screw up actually :) )
