I don't use BZEdit or iBZEdit at all.
I prefer to primarily use Apple TextEdit to type out maps, and then Wings3D with the BZW exporter for more complicated stuff.

I'm appalling at making 1.x style maps. I tend to end up getting bored or frustrated with the lack of stuff to tweak. Plus when i started mapping, there was no visual editor for mac at all that would work on my system. It's only recently that i have started getting friendly with Wings.

I like Wings 3D a lot. It's fun to just screw around and make 3D models just for the heck of it. And bzworld is okay, but it's kinda crappy.

If I were making maps...I'd probably use notepad++ ('cause I'm a control freak and perfectionist when it comes to this kind of stuff, and a math geek more than artist), and Blender3D (because it rocks). But then again, I'm not an artist, so making maps might not be a good idea. ;)

Sadly, I only know how to use BZEdit. but I like the idea about using a 3D modeler. Im wondering if my Calgari Gamespace light will work.
I'm thinking I need a better sig than this...
