I thought i would release a sneak peak of a map im working on, its probably too early to put in works in progress however, here it is.

Looks really cool! One thing though, what are those numbers in square brackets in the upper right corner, and how do I get them?

They are the tank's current coordinates.

I agree with Greenie - it already looks very quite capable for playing as is. I'd be interested in trying it out as soon as you get it hosted.
And the lesson for tonight is:

Never underestimate the ability of a newb to expect instant success and cry "cheat!" when they don't get it. Don't hate the newb, just give them plenty of learning opportunities. ;)
