Sneak Peek: Pandora - Humans vs Na'Vi

As I know many people play this map and as many people like this map (as it's the first movie adapted map ever since 2005) here are some screenshots (and i'll post further screenshots on progress) of the newest developments. But I won't show too much so there is space to be curious :D

Wrong.

Crack open the following link, and find worlds/darkcity.bzg
Guess what movie that's based on... Note that the file is dated 2005.

For what it's worth, I don't doubt that there were movie inspired maps
prior to that one. Whenever you think you're being novel, think again ;)

Thanks for pointing out that fact, so it's the first new movie adapted map since 2005. That's quiete a while; I didn't even know of BZFlag when "Darkcity" was released.

Ok one more update; I added bioluminescence to all plants, so the map "glows" at "night".

and it was conplex as it is

these new shots look great!

So we finally got the mighty Tree Of Souls finished and are now on the last bits of perfection for the beta release.

I updated the public server, which moved to wtwrp.de:5154. The beta with all the new things shown here is playable there and I feel thankful for any constructive feedback via /report or in this thread.

Map Enhancement Idea Gathering

It's been a while since this map went public, and most of you have at least catched a glimpse (if you didn't, go get one: wtwrp.de:5154).
But now I want to know more.
  • How can gameplay be enhanced?
  • What objects or places should be added?
  • What objects or places are superfluous?
Now you can tell me, what to do!
(And please try to be precise about your ideas, if needed draw your idea (into the topdown screenshot))

The only enhancements I can think of is making the water on the edges match-up with the water in the map.

and the waterfall just seems a little 2d to me
