linux(pretty good)

allied I like 98 better than xp ehick is what I have in xp they assume your are a moron and you can't do any thing th command prompt sucks
and you can't boot into dos

Well, I kinda like 98. But it's BIGGEST problem is that it can't run AoE3 or Imperial Glory. Also I like XP's Silver theme better than 98.
I don't understand some of the things you said though

xp doesn't let you boot into dos any more
and it assumes your a ******* and asks you 1000 times if your sure you want to acces the program files before it actually lets you.
and it is a ram hog

I don't care for DOS. I used Win 3.1 for so long that I don't care a penny for it
. I don't mind the alert and you can disable it. I forget how though.

Same in Win98. It prompts you to show all the files. That hasn't changed.

My brother has XP and his Windows folder isn't hidden. Anyway, go to the address bar and type in "C:\Windows". Should work.
