Hey, im making a new map in ibzedit

here is the screenies:

the above is an overhead view, the attached file is a screenie of the same map only updated with towers

I can't understand how anyone can make a map in iBZEdit.
I downloaded the latest version I could find and the visual was totally messed up and utterly unusable.

ah well. binaryspike says he's working on the visuals. it's still alpha, so it's early days yet.

Yeah, and props to him for working on it. I just could not imagine myself using it as it is now.

it takes a while, but if you read the guide you can figure it out, especially a smart guy like you.

To use the camera go the same way you roam in bzflag, arrow keys, shift+arrow keys, control+arrowkeys

I know how to roam, but you can't go exactly where you want, it has momentum and it still looks awful. I can't tell if I'm looking from under the world, or above and I can't tell the difference between the floor, walls or any objects I make.

Try harder, concentrate, think, be the map, let the map be you, become one.

Or just give up and use textedit

I _do_ use textedit and will until iBZEdit becomes functional.
