King of the castle

My lastest map...

It's going to be on an edited bzfs, two villages on each side of the castle will fight to be king, once one team is king they take owner ship of the castle and defend it against the other team. There are many ways to attack/get in the castle and many ways to defend. To capture the castle a player with his team's flag will have to jump on the kings "seat" in the top room in the keep. There will be shockwave flag with one shot placed in the bottom of the keep, making him vunerable unless his team "generally has dominion of the castle". The cannons will fire laser via command when a player is near them, they'll type something like "/fire 10 -1" meaning 10 down and 1 to the left.

looks cool - just wondering if this map might be confused with another map with the same name.

I think Jackel hosts it once in awhile.

Interesting. Are the catapults really gonna work? Maybe you can post a top view so we can see inside the castle. 8)

I made some cannons a while back for somebody that had a small surface sloped just right inside, so when one shot into the cannon, the bullet flew out of the barrel at the right angle. It wasn't too hard, though you will need a calculator :wink:

The concept is really cool, as is the map!

Someone else is working on a map similar to this, could the bzfs mod be made to work with more than one map?

wow, sry for all you ppl who haven't been able to sleep waiting for the map and moded bzfs...if someone else wants to take over the project I can give them the source. (must know c++ and, well, perl and blender)
