Inclined plane freeway ramps

Post by yarro »

This is a model of a triple ramp fork that is curving and inclined with buttresses, asphalt and concrete textures (hopefully they come through).
The licence is CC 3.0 and not for commercial use without my OK. The object needs scaling likely and may need to be un grouped as I can't get it to load in the test launcher but it showed no grouping in the editor. Might work well with wings flags that would let you fly up the incline.

You can make those yourself. He posted a Wings3D file, and Wings3D can output to BZW and OBJ.

Your dad supports you playing video games, but he doesn't support you learning to use a creative modelling tool that expands your skills and gives you valuable experience and an understanding of spatial geometry?

No, he just doesn't like downloading. I have a different 3D modeler, ( I want Wings though) and he likes me to text edit.

Well, guess what. Every time you go on the Internet, you are "downloading". By reading this thread, you downloaded all of the resources associated with it (HTML, JavaScript, images, etc).

OK, for your sake, here is a BZWorld file exported from Wings, hope Dad is happy.
I guess you will have to scale, position, and orient with word pad or some such.
Your Dad play BZFlag?

Thanks Yarro, you're the only one who's nice here. He used to play, but now he doesn't. Blast, you know what I mean when I say downloading.

Edit* Looks good. Do you know when you'll use it?

I don't know if I will use it as my plate is full and I have had problems with test launcher on Win 7 so far. I was hoping someone drops it in a game so I can see how it is implemented.

He's being sarcastic. Something you'll probably want to get use to ;)

As for what Constitution said, he has a pretty good point.

I was at one point working on this ramp project, can't remember what ever came from it though. I'll download the BZW and see what's changed.

Its a different ramp project as I released the freeway interchange idea in another thread recently. The freeway has a flat surface, so not inclined; better for running about on. This one could work with wings or the slope mesh physics driver.
