Monopoly Car

Here is another piece for your board me1. I just really like the idea and want to help with it. I don't know of any other way. It's really simple, but as it had already reached 166 polys - I didn't want to give it too much detail.

Ooohh, that's nice! Just a smidge more detail in front of the car. And I almost voted for "Stop making objects." :wink: LOL!

i said that cuz most of the car is in front of the seat, add something to the back

OK. Try this - I haven't yet rounded the front, 'cause it's already at 620 polys.

can you also post the obj file, if that's what you use to export? and if ya use wings send the .wings file

anyway, looks betta, now it looks like a monopaly car/ go-cart :wink:

Help! I use Caligari gameSpace Light(free). Therefore, I can only give you .X, .COB, or .BZW. And I've got a fresh problem - I'm going to have to remake it because I wasn't saving the actual model - just the final one. So you may have the rounded front and detailed rear.

I started this some time ago and abandoned it. I have also made a thimble and the top hat model; I quit when I got to the dog - very tough.

Anyway, it' still an unfinished model; I have to reduce the poly count on the car - it's around 1000 polygons as shown. I also wanted to add more detail to the tires (the token has concentric rings in the tires) and louvered vents for the engine compartment (also on token). Still a lot of work to be done...

your car looks like the acutal one, without the little details, prety nice, but that thing looks like it have probally 300-500 poly's

can you post polycount/ pics of the other pieces you made?

Here's the new one with somewhat rounded front and some more detail on the rear. I made the same bungle though and am hoping that I don't need any more edits :| .

PS: I'm thinking of giving up now that LouMan got on th job. My car is a burning heap smashed flat right now. :cry:

Both are great, but LouMans is the most like the actual monopoly car that I remember... GJ Allied too though! :wink:

I know - LouMans is just about a replica. I didn't really try to do a copy(not that I could) - just tried to do a low-poly car that could be used for me1's Monopoly map. Gladd you like 'em
