Freenode is looking for T-Shirt designs

As many of you may or may not know, our IRC channel is hosted on Freenode. Freenode ( http://freenode.net/ ) provides discussion facilities for the Free and Open Source Software communities, for not-for-profit organizations and for related communities and organizations. They are currently trying to meet the requirement for a "charitable" organization in the UK. They need to raise money to be able to give it away and that is where some of you could help. For the more creative of you there is a way you can help without giveing up any cash (yet...). There are planning on selling t-shirts. Seeing as we have several great t-shirt designers out there, I thought it might be good to put our creative juices behind this effort. They are currently looking for design ideas and you can read a bit about it on their blog post http://blog.freenode.net/2009/02/freenode-t-shirts/.

So come on designers get your thinking caps on and help them get some great t-shirt designs!!

Of course this is only the first step. I will keep people posted here as to the status of this endeavor so that those of us who can will be able to help them support us. Freenode has supported this project for years and it is really the least we can do. Of course they will always take straight donations as well.
