This program has everthing you want for BZFlag.

Offline messaging, whiteboard (a window you can post pictures and stuff in), and !!! voice-chat !!!

It needs you to port forward 4137

http://www.bitwiseim.com/

Also, it works on every system BZFlag works on.

And for $$$ you can create a private user server.
(It's like using a different server for your company.... for less bandwidth uses...........)

Well, I tested voice-chat with torture2m and it doesn't cause much lag at all.

too much hassle with 3rd party apps... bring on voice support as a bzflag (optional) feature :D

What about talk.google.com. You could start a chatroom there i think. Just tell everybody on the server to go on chatroom "what ever you think of" :lol-old:

but that would require bz to be in a window...and its hard to play and chat at the same time..

You don't have to window BZFlag. Chat apps can run in the background, and you can control them with keyboard shortcuts.

why does everyone keep making up solutions or alternatives. We all know about the alternatives, but we choose not to use them because we know its time consuming/not always possible and not really worth the effort of getting other people to also use the alternatives.

ill await all the harsh comments now :|
