FIRST GERMAN OPEN DUCATI TOURNEY SPRING 2007

This is a tournament in a ducati-style.

Ducati teams could sign up, but its open to every other (even a new) team.

Try out new ties, sign up and have fun.

The tournament is proceding in May. Start is scheduled to the May5.

Yes, don't let the "German" part scare you away Anyone can participate, all you need is to form a team with a few players - or just use an existing league team. Also note that this is not competing with the ducati league: It's a championship, an event, that just happens to use the same playing style.

So I would encourage everyone who likes to play ducati style to try and participate in the tournament. The Moles will try to do their part to make it a fun experience.

Can somebody clue me in as to how this works? I'm a little confused as far as the English translations on the website.

From what I gather, you do a test to see if you're good enough for the league, are then put in different groups by lots, and...?

The drwaning is scheduled for the 02. May 14:00 UTC, and check the NEWS. A video file of the drawing-session will be available under http://german-open-tournament.de/index. ... ,0,0,1,0,0.

The tourny start with the 05. MAy.
The first round schould finished until 2 weeks.
If registering 4 more teams, we could go for 4 groups.

Now some words to the about:

The tourney should be a add for the league, not in any case a replacment (ala openleague). It is a test regards that we not fully sure that everything works as we wish.
The name is just a name not more, we wont call it universe championship...
Because of the fact that outside the ducati-league many living teams, we intend to give them the opportunity, to try themself in the ducati-style. Matches of registered ducati-teams are countable for the league.

Just get some players for a team (regardless if a ducati, a pillbox, a GUor a openleague or just make one for the tourney) than send a bz-mail to Matrixe or to Sussi or sign up here http://german-open-tournament.de/index.php?Anmeldung.
