Lasermania is one of the best map i personally ever played on

The only problem with the map, is that there are none or not enough players on it to have a nice and fun game.

So i just wanted to know, if players got time and want to play there.

And hopefully we can find a deal within all those times

It's a decent map, just doesn't seem to have the potential to keep players coming back.

I would say it has the potential to keep players coming back, just other "competing" sniping maps have too much allurement to attract kids/players.

Lasermania was THE FIRST really successful laser sniping map, that I can remember. It had its run at the top for close to a year I think, it is nice to get a game going there from time to time, but the map has been played out. There really aren't any new strategies, so the play tends to get old without a lot of new players. IMHO

boxy wars was the same way tho and bloodbath each map has it's time in the spotlight and lasermania shined like a star but when a map dies it dies and most likeley wont be coming back.If you wait around 2 years without mentioning it then bring it back it will shine again

Sorry Marzipan, I don't think lasermania will be coming back. Just like boxy and bloodbath, it was at the top of the list for a long time, but once its done its done. Missile wars 2 is the most popular one at the moment, but it seems to be on its way down. Who knows, maybe once that one is done one of the old ones will come back .

It's been 2 years now, Marzipan, you've done well not mentioning the map, it's now time to have fun on lasermania (we hope it won't lag). I've just seen on bzstats strayers that there were 20 people today Oo on it Oo Oo oO Oo oO oO OO.

I suggest anyone interested to join lasermania wednesday 1st of september 2010, at noon GMT. (2PM in France)
I'll wait one hour max reading, if there is nobody, I'm leaving.

Let's just make one rule (you also have to respect server rules) : when we join, we must make it even, if all the good players are in one team, and if you went ramdomly in that team, I think you are good, so if you are, try to get on the other team to make it even. Else it's not interesting because the weak team will leave and the map dies. If it's not possible to switch because of the number of people in teams(unlikely to happen but just in case) get in observer mode until it's possible to get in the correct team.

I hope some people will read this message, and it's not on a wrong topic, anyway, please don't delete this before wednesday.

I really like this game so thank you for developing the game, maps, hosting maps, and server list.

I think thats a great idea, unfortunately i will have school at that time but i hope that when im back home there will still be some players online;)
