Hi all,

As we all are aware, BZSoccer has been gone for a long time, but now it is back.
This time, it would be nice to set everything aside for one good time and to really bring back the fun we had in BZFlag.

So to make it a bit extra special, it is one day before the World Cup ends.

Hopefully we will have 22 players, so it will be like an official soccer match.
Just to note, there is 11 blue player slots and 11 red player slots, so once they are filled, they are filled, unless a player needs a substitution.
(So join in early, to be to choose the team you wish to join.)

Though no one has asked for it, there is one feature I'll be adding.
Normally there is a large shockwave which covers the whole map to reset players and it causes their score to drop.
No more, your score will remain the same, but the shockwave remains.

The week of plug-ins wasn't finished on time, but this plug-in is the seventh one.

The BZSoccer event is tomorrow at 20UTC.

You will be able to find the time for your location here: BZSoccer - The BZSport Is Back
Please be sure to show up around 10-15 minutes early to get a feel for the map and to work the teams.
We'll also be able to play as many soccer rounds as wanted.

The NoLossOnSW plug-in might not be loaded at the time, but please forgive me if this happens.

Please note at the end of the soccer matches, I'll be taking suggestions for improvements on BZSoccer.
Even if you think something isn't possible, there might be a way to do it.
See these threads on some ideas which people thought weren't possible, but were still able to be made.

Special thanks to all who showed up.
It made it possible to bring back some of the classic days of some good clean fun.

As a bit of a side note: There will likely be a few more events in the near future, but they will have a few improvements over the first one.
(Better planning, better map, help files, plug-ins..etc..)
