Get rid of the quotes around your public address.

Please, make this more normal:
"!!!---(PLAY)--->YOURMOM'S FREE-FOR-ALL!<---(PLAY)---!!!"

And make sure your firewall is open, or your router has the correct ports forwarded. (Check DNS?)

EDIT: Bah, Me1, beat me to it :p

Ill guess that you have a dynamic IP address -- how dynamic, I don't know...

usually you can configure your domain to point to your IP address, then just change the IP it points to when your IP changes..

(My IP hasn't changed for ~8 months now...)

Doubtful... you asked for a "sample windows .conf file", so he gave you one. :-)

Here is what you do.... start simple... like this...

Code: Select all

# tell the game to be public, and what text to use in the description field in the public list
-public "!!!---(PLAY)--->YOURMOM'S FREE-FOR-ALL!<---(PLAY)---!!!"

-publicaddr yourmom.is-a-geek.com
and get that to work. Once that works, add the next item (one at a time). When that item works as you think it should, add the next. (repeat as necessary)

If the simplest config does not work then the most likely issue is your router or server setup.

Gee, I could swear I said that earlier...

look on google for a tutorial about unblocking / forwarding ports on your router... I'll assume you can figure out what router you have...
