my server has a problem. There was not such trouble before.

users are able to join only 2players.
3rd player and the after, are able to join, read map,
but cannot syncro, so tanks and bullets are not displayed forever.
cannot blew self up.

it is log

"joining as a tank"
"signing off"

It is so by an instant.automatic, Without the operation of the user.

server infomation can load to
"you can register it athttp://......
but stop here.

i think The cause of the trouble is
rooter
or
bzfs.conf

please teach me.

this server is find searching list ":777"or"mithril jp"
irregular open at night. not everytime.

i made new bzfs.conf from new file.
when no configration(light),4 tanks can blew up from my PC.
but,when copy configuration(heavy),3 tanks can.

so,login may depend on server hard spec.
bzw(map),vars(tank&map config),
As much as become big, maybe heavy and freeze.

hmm

perhaps,
login prosess is heavy.
Furthermore, other(map vars) is heavy,
server being slowly, judge it as timeout ,and display "sign off".(same as offline)

if server and client run at the same PC,may be much heavy.

Try using the default port (5154) , because ports 0-1023 are Well Known Ports that are assigned by the IANA. These ports can only be used by system or root processes, or by applications executed by privileged users.

Even though your server is in the list I cannot connect to or ping it. Traceroute does not complete to your machine.

bzfs uses very little cpu time, running a client and server on the same machine should not be a problem.

The same phenomenon recurred.

All login users message is

[xxx joining as a tank]
[xxx signing off]
[xxx joining as a tank]
[xxx signing off]
repeating.

They can not login. and perhaps messaged[Error connecting to server]

server address: My-ISP-IP:7777
servername: urz7

home router setting are completed.

Usually this issue would occur if the list server (my.bzflag.org) cannot reach your server and has thus removed it from the list.

May be because it disappears from the server list
when it does not login more than two people

2bot be residenced now.
In the past, Several people can login then.

Well, bzfs automatically sends out 'ADD' messages when someone joins, and every 30 minutes (iirc). So running bots should not fix anything.

Anyways, from the list server logs, it looks like people weren't getting a token, so they were having issues before even getting to your server. So I wouldn't worry about trying to fix anything on your end.

(In other words, the list server may have been down/slow at the time of the issue)
