If you run a server and want to use global login groups to assign permissions then please add a new post here with just the names of the groups you would like. Always use the format;

<prefix>.<group>, where <prefix> is a name unique to you or your server or other organization.

When we make the group for you, we will post in the thread that yours is done ( we usually batch them up, so your group will probably be listed with others )
What we will do is make the group for you, and set you as the group moderator, then you can add/remove people from the groups.

Just go to the Usergroups button on the top of any page, and you can admin any group you are moderator of.

We highly recommend that you set your server up to require global registration. At least to talk, if not to spawn. It helps cut down on a lot of abuses.

If there are any web developers out there who would like to help us make a better group management system and want to help, please read the spec for it at http://my.bzflag.org/w/Group_Management_System and come into IRC and talk about it.

The faster we can get a better system, the more power people have over their groups.
