How to get my server off public listing?

Need help seting up a server, or have a question on how to run one? This is the place.

How to get my server off public listing?

So I recently put my server onto the public listings just to test it out and see if I could do so. I closed the server, but it's still there? People can't connect, but I would rather it if it wasn't there and if my I.P. wasn't visible to everybody. How can I get it off these listings?

It disappears in a minute or two.... are you sure you closed it?

If you didn't close the server properly (as in, you killed the process, you didn't Ctrl-C it) it won't send the 'REMOVE' message. If this happens, it will be deleted from the list after 35 minutes, if I recall correctly.
