localhost having issues on Windows 10

Hi all,

I'm using BZFlag 2.4.6 Release Candidate 2 and I've been trying to run a couple maps with different settings as localhost on my computer.
I can't seem to run it at times and sometimes it won't run at all.
For example I've set the server to as localhost or 127.0.0.7 and tried to use certain settings.
Here's the settings I tried to use 3 shots, jumping, and ricos, but here's what comes instead when I try to run it 1 shot, no-jumping, and no ricos.
Also the maps I try to use don't load and instead I get a Ducati style map on localhost.(Minus Ducati settings.)

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but here's what I'm doing.
I start running bzfs and then open the BZFlag client and end up with this on the client end.

Server: localhost
Port: 5154
Motto:

I then go to start server and place the settings 3 shots, jumping, and ricos.
After I open another instance of the client and try to join as localhost.
Sometimes I can join on the server at times other times I can't join.
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if it's windows giving me the problems I see here.
To note I've tried using both 127.0.0.7 or localhost, but the results remain the same.

What are the command line options you are passing to bzfs? Have you tried increasing the debugging level?

I start by first changing the directory in Command prompt.
cd C:\Program Files\bzflag-2.4.6.20160319-RC2
I then type in bzfs.exe
I then receive this message on command prompt.

Note: no acceleration limit has been set. Players using "mouse
enhancements" may cause problems on this server due to very high
acceleration rates which are not handled well by dead reckoning
algorithms. To emilminate this warning set the -a switch in your
configuration. '-a 50 38' is recommended for standard-speed servers.
Higher speed servers will need higher values for -a in order to not
affect gameplay. '-a 0 0' may be used to shut this message up without
affecting any players, including those using "mouse enhancements".

After I receive this message I can't enter any other commands or configuration options.
But I can log in as localhost on the BZFlag client with the settings of 1 shot, no jumping, no rico and a Ducati style map loaded on the server, but nothing else happens.
I can drive around but I can't load another map or get a bot on the server.

bzfs isn't an interactive console program. You need to pass all the configuration settings at the time that you run it. Please read the manual for bzfs that we include, as well as the output of 'bzfs -help'.
