Help with router

Post by Half Track »

I have changed my router, now got a 'billion BiPAC 5200 series'.

I have forwarded port 5154 and people can join the game but then imediatly go 'Not responding'.

I seem to remember on my old router that I forwarded the port for tcp and UDP but there does not seem to be this setting on this router.

Can anyone advise or tell me what else may be causing the problem??

Thanks in advanve.

Hmm... I am looking at the documentation for this router, and it looks like it assumes both UDP and TCP on the Virtual Server settings page.

Are you running the latest firmware? V2.7.0.23, If not I would try updating that.

Yep got the latest firmware.

Not sure what else it could be.

It is accessible on my local network but as I said anyone joining from outside becomes 'Not Responding'.

I am guessing the problem is with my router setup but I don't know what it could be.

Any ideas anyone?

Turned out the router was not working properly.
Got a new one, now the server is back online.
