you need to be admin to use /set (usually).

Code: Select all

bzfs -password 1234
will run a random map with a password.

What code?
The password? In BZFlag, hit 'n' and type "/password MY_PASS" then hit enter.

If you start your server from within the BZFlag application itself (with the "Start Server" option in the "Join Game" menu), then you cannot specify a password. However, if you start your server on the command line, with something like "./bzfs -mp 60" or whatever, you can specify your password there. It owuld result in something like "./bzfs -mp 60 -password 1234".
