Rabbit Chase... a different way
Rabbit Chase... a different way
I was just thinking, would it be possible to make a rabbit chase map where whatever flag the rabbit has, everyone else automatically gets that flag? And also, only the rabbit can pick up a flag? I think that it would make an interesting map...

Shield flag?
What happens if the rabbit gets shield? Surely this would mean the rabbit can't kill anyone, since they can't drop the shield flag!!
Also, this would defeat the point of the hunters finding good flags to take on the rabbit - such as trying to find SE if the rabbit has ST, or getting ST if the rabbit has GM etc.

If everyone got the same flag the rabbit had, wouldn't that mean they'd have it until the rabbit dropped it?
I'm not a big fan of the idea that only the rabbit could get a flag.
Example: Rabbit with wg
How on earth would you kill a skilled wg fighter without anything? He'd have to make a mistake, and if he was good, he wouldn't.

Everybody else will have WG too... What part of that can't you comprehend?
It makes the game MORE even, MORE fair.
Merry Christmas!

Does this imply that having a rabbit drop the flag it was holding would make all the other players drop their flag? It wouldn't be very fair if a rabbit got the OO flag, and then dropped it while a hunter was inside a building. The hunter would be stuck.
And another thing this topic fails to consider: When rabbits are destroyed, the hunter that destroyed them becomes the rabbit. But if the hunter's flag is determined by the previous rabbits flag, wouldn't that mean that a flag could be recycled over and over again? This would destroy the gameplay to a certain extent as people could keep re-using the genocide, and other super flags. And if you say a player could just drop the flag... Is there a player you know that would drop superflags willingly under normal circumstances?
