Bessler's on TuxFamily/Sbgodin server : comment and svn

Post by sbgodin »

Hello folks,

I would like to get some return by the players coming on my server. It is hosting the Bessler's world on the Tuxfamily server. You cannot miss it.

What do you think about the map and its settings ? If someone wants to upgrade the map to get better colors for the walls, for instance, I would be happy. And I would not be the only one.

I decided to release my bunch of scripts, except logs and other secret features. They are available through svn.

http://viewvc.tuxfamily.org/svn_bzs_bzs/trunk/

You can also use the command line interface :
svn co svn://svn.tuxfamily.org/svnroot/bzs/bzs/trunk bz
The map, and all the settings, are right there :
http://viewvc.tuxfamily.org/svn_bzs_bzs ... iew=markup

Enjoy !

IMO, I quite liked it all.

What I didn't like was the shots, how they raise\fall with your tank. Also the fact there isn't any rico :P

The groud may get a bit annoying too, but It's ok for now.

Wouldn't matter to me much about the changes you may make, I lag like crazy there.

What you do not like is what I like: it does not look like the former settings. The lack of rico involve a low luck for random shots and a high level of skill to get rid of... me ;-)

Anyone who had played on my field could feel how dim their life was, once they encounter me.

The server works on a great bandwidth on the best wires on the world in... France ! If you are far from France, then you will lag a bit.

My server did work without major problems for months. No, the server is rather down.

Overheating. Hosted far from me. Doh !
