I can't vote ATM, but I'd vote 0-1 years or so, only in the game like 6 months, can't remember.
The Pen is Mightier Than the Sword.
Okay, you get a Bic, the orc gets a long sword.
He cuts the Bic in half.
Then he cuts you in half.
Oops, I meant quarters.

I have been playing about 1-2 years, but I have some pretty good strategies. My brothers and my dad also play, and I've learned a lot from them.

I started playing way back in 1997, but then I didn't play again until 2006. In 1997 a bunch of us would play when we had overnights at the office (worked for Raytheon in Germany) to pass the time. I had forgotten about the game until last year and haven't stopped playing since.

Was sure I had replied to this... perhaps not. I've been playing between 5-6ish years. And hopefully I'll be able to keep it up a lot longer!

Probably time for an update on me too...
I think last time I posted here I was at one year(?)
I'm currently at about 2-2.5, I can't really remember exactly when I started. (I know it was a few months before I registered this account...)

I've been playing since June of 2001, around the time when 1.7e2 was released.

I feel so old.. Oh wait I am old..
I have been playing BZFlag since it was only on the SGI's.. I was e-mailing Chris (developer of the game) back then to see if he was working on a Windows version..
He sent me a few tests, and with Windows 3.1.. it was well.. not working very well..
Back then the tanks just moved real slow in the sand and you had landmine flags that you could detonate remotely..
I work for Boeing, and we used to have some pretty good lunch sessions and evening sessions as well..
So I guess it's been 14+ years..

Let's see... I first started about a few weeks after 2.0.0 was released, so... just shy of 3 years now.
And the lesson for tonight is:
Never underestimate the ability of a newb to expect instant success and cry "cheat!" when they don't get it. Don't hate the newb, just give them plenty of learning opportunities.
