The reason you got a snarky answer is because it looks like you never did ANY research at all. At least Win XP gave you some advice. You shouldn't need the direct link. A google search for "bzflag wiki" turned up the right page in the very first link.

Most likely this is a newer player who doesn't even know that a wiki exists... hopefully in the future we'll help the person out instead of being snippy.

This post seems pretty accurately placed out of the various forums that he can post in.

boy007, browse around the help forums, there should be sticky posts (at the top of the forum areas) with several ways of helping you out. And, yes, please read the wiki provided for you.
