Hey, not a bad start.

Some suggestions:

First, you might want to proofread the page as you add things, as there are a number of spelling errors, etc.

I'm not a Windows guy, but I'm pretty sure that you can save worlds with a .bzw file extension and still edit them in notepad or wordpad.

You might want to note that the bzflag directory won't always be called bzflag2.0.8. It totally depends upon what version you have installed.

For the lag bit, I've had over 10 people on my lousy little home server with no lag problems at all. It's on a DSL 3mb down / 768k up connection. I'm told that it in part depends upon how many shots you're allowing players to have, if you have superflags, and other game parameters. Also, if you're playing on a Local area network, you'll have PLENTY of bandwidth to serve several dozen people - that is, if you can get them all in your living room.

If you want to go public with your server, you also need to forward the proper ports if you're behind a router (like most people who have broadband access), and set up your firewall to allow the connections.

There is, of course, a lot more to running a server, but this looks like a good start.
