I usually have my media player playing behind BZ and yes, it is CRANKED up
I love music.. i sometimes replace the music that a game includes with more "appropriate" music of my own.

I usually have Metallica playing on my surround sound system when I play games. It just gets me in the "killing mood"

I don't usually play it too loud.... but I listen to techno/trance almost every time I play BZ. I also mix in some Enya, Holland, etc.
I always listen to a certain trance song while I play matches... and no, I'm not telling what it is.

We don't play like that. The sound is mainly quiet, or not working. Sometimes we have REAL 1 player playing.

I normally don't listen to music while playing BZFlag.
But, just to make all you heathens cringe, I'll state that I listen to Gospel music while destroying tanks.

I listen to Christian music while I play too.
It's got a good tune.. a good beat... good vocals.... my tank can dance to it...
Not all Christian music is boring. Most of it is 10x better than the main-stream stuff out there right now.

Classical music is good also. Flight of the bumble bee, Bhetovens 9th - they all compliment flying tanks parts rather well....

Soundtrack to Gettysburg or LOTR is really good.
Beware! I'm going to clone myself and spread those clones all over the world!

Groove Salad (
http://soma.fm ) or similar music from CDs. It contrasts nicely with the flying tank parts.

I've ripped most of my CD collection to ogg, and then just put that collection on shuffle. About 1300 songs.
Krystal Method though tends to be my favorite when I've got the groove on.

here, here! Long live ABBA music. Long live 70's and 80's music.
And, although it might be tough for some of you to take...
LOVE LIVE DISCO!

Wasn't it originally "In the garden of eden" but Iron Butterfly was too stoned to say is correctly? Today i was listening to the 'New Radicals' song 'You Only Get What You Give'

That's what they say. It's also a good song because it runs for 17 minutes, so I only have to restart it once during a match

I like the sound of the metal wheel scraping agianst it's supprts. By shifting my weight a bit I can make it squeal and screech on cue.
I usually practice the sound I want at night while the humans are asleep and record it on the pc for play later in a game.

LoL That reminds me so much of Darkwing Duck! Hehehe. But it'd be "I am the wheel the squeaks in the night..."
I loved that show when I was little.
As odd as this may seem.... acoustic guitar music seems to be the only thing I want to play to anymroe! Hehe. I have quite a few songs by Earl Klugh. I think they help me to relax while I play. Has anyone else tried this?
