The Start Server menu within BZFlag is not recommended for servers. It's buggy more of the time than it's not.

Have you tried using BZFS that comes with BZFlag?

If you want something that is guarenteed to work, try joining a server instead of starting your own.

Not very helpful

Anyways, I don't know about setting jumping, ricochet, and flags. Probably because I use BZEdit.

To run your server, first enter this in command prompt

Code: Select all

cd C:\Program Files\BZFlag2.0.8
(Assuming you installed it in the normal place. If not so, enter the path of it )
Then, type

Code: Select all

bzfs.exe -world nameofmap.bzw
The Pen is Mightier Than the Sword.

Okay, you get a Bic, the orc gets a long sword.

He cuts the Bic in half.

Then he cuts you in half.

Oops, I meant quarters.

Freebird is talking about random maps, not so much specific maps.
