Empty Fridge

Post by CUPCAKE »

My latest map, made mostly using Wings3D, with a bit of coding by hand. (I have to remember to make flat surfaces using Wings... My flat surfaces are never flat, so I have to add meshes and meshboxes). The fridge is not completely empty, there is a red can thing in there. Also, it's possible to go from the top to bottom without the wings flag.

This is a five team FFA, 5 players on each team. Be sure to add more flags than what I have, those are just how many of those flags that I want.

Also, I'm releasing my map under this license. I felt that it was time to use a license.

Really cool, I think it would be even better as a "full" fridge with food as obstacles and such.

I think I'll try the full fridge idea.
Grace, how do you define "too smooth"?

The name fits the map well... empty. I do hope you will make a second version with more things in the fridge and maybe fill up the world around it or lower the worldsize. Still, that's impressive modeling. Nicely done. Would this be better as a map object or a map of itself...?

Yes. My idea for the next map is Kitchen, using the fridge in it. But for now its just empty fridge. At the beginning I was even thinking of Fridge CTF

DW: I don't know about map object... it would have to be a pretty big map because scaling the fridge would cause not being able to jump through the floors... (however, you could make anything with the matref Grills drivethrough...)

I think the map should have a little more in it than just the fridge. Maybe put it in a house?

And I've come up with the perfect name for it...

LouMan's Home Sweet Home!

In all seriousness, I think you have made a nice appliance. Good work.

EDIT: Added previous post to remove some "free-standing post" ambiguity

The idea is still kitchen. Its like a bigger louman's home sweet home with (maybe) slight more detailed but not as good looking appliances and only one room. And thats not the name.

I'm just about done, I just have a problem with large un-accessible spaces.
