A Couple New Flags

Okay, here's a few flags that could be good in the next version of BZ

1. Team Dectector- Cannot harm teammates
2. Invincibility- Tank becomes invincible for a short time.
3. Slow Shot- Tanks bullets become slowed. Takes longer to reload, too.
4. Bomber- Shoots a regular bullet, but when it touches a wall, it has the same effect as a shockwave.
5. Spin- Tank spins in place for a short time. Can't move, but can shoot.
6. Invisibility- Tank becomes invisible on map and HUD for a short time. Bullets can still be seen out the window and on radar. Tread tracks can also be seen out the window.

You should go here and get some information on proposing new flags. Besides, most (if not all) of these ideas have been suggested in the past. Sometimes more than once.

The only somewhat new idea is the "spin" flag, but I fail to see the practicality in that. If you are going to shoot someone, why not have them die when you do?

A Distraction
the spin flag spins the user around for a time, like a bad flag. If i understand correctly

Ah, well I didn't consider it as a bad flag. Even so, I don't see a practical application that isn't already covered by various movement impeding flags.

Hmmm...most of these have been posted in Flag Ideas.

1. Team Detector - Already done in 3.0, as a server side setting. (Meaning, you can turn TKs off on the server-side)
2. Invincibility - From the wiki page.

3. Slow Shot - Has potential as a bad flag, and I don't see any previous submits of this idea.
4. Bomber - A couple flags have been proposed using this idea, and they have been shot down. The closest you can get to splash damage in this game is with shockwaveDeath.
5. Spin - There are a couple ways it could go. The DoNuts flag (which doesn't stop spinning) has been rejected.
6. Invisibility - ST/CL combos have been shot down numerous times in the past.

Of course, the best way to get your flag accepted is to code it yourself. Allegedly it's not that hard (if you know C++).

Lol nice word choice: "Shot Down"

Anyways, I agree with you. Heck, I had came up with a shockwaveshot flag, which became hopeless.

He cuts the Bic in half.

Then he cuts you in half.

Oops, I meant quarters.
