Well, I have to agree that donny_baker's is one of the best, but I can't really judge them all because I've been inactive for a while.

Well, not to sound egotistical or anything, but, seriously - I AM the best Avatar! :P

About half of the avatars here are generic "BZFlag" avatars. From the rest, I think it highly varies. I've seen donny_baker's avatar in a few places over the interweb, so it isn't as funny (along with that infamous Do Not Fall Down Stairs).

Another thing is that avatars (usually) relate to the person who has them. For example, my current avatar is from User Friendly, so it may be unfamiliar to some. There is one that I think is cool, but I'm not one for avatars that try to be funny (or animated GIFs).

Spazzy's is my favorite I think, donny's is really funny though...

Anyone who knows where mine is from gets a cookie.

ducktape: Where did you get that? It's hilarious, in a "wtf?!?!?" kind of way.

Well, the Mets are the greatest sports team in the history of the world, minus this year and the end of the last season, which, eh em, we won't talk about :) So I'd have to say mine.

Or on a more serious note, probably Spazzy's

You people can't even get close to zorak, at the talent show, with the flamethrower.

Take a look at my Defender game mode concept.

Thinking is not an automatic process. A man can choose to think or to let his mind stagnate, or he can choose actively to turn against his intelligence, to evade his knowledge, to subvert his reason. If he refuses to think, he courts disaster: he cannot with impunity reject his means of perceiving reality.

Mine, naturally. I find it appropriate for the subject of the game. I drew it myself, and I use one with a transparent background as my BZFlag icon. I like it better than the original one that came with the game. Transparency's ALL messed up in that one.

tonywolfe212 uses the ball-throwing-dude as his avatar too, so it kinda loses in creativity. Otherwise, it's hilarious, and I like it very much.

And Peter, I like your portrait. Really.

Anyone can steal an avatar... doesn't affect the creativity at all, since stealing doesn't have ANYTHING to do with being creative.
