DUDE you actually paid money for this site? Sorry but it's not that good. Wrong spelling, very un organized, confusing links. Sorry but my grandma on her death roll can make a better site than this :D

you can criticize and still be nice, so lay off the insults.

spitfiire
calling it the "google version of bzflag" is a misrepresentation

1) make your tank logo smaller, it dosn't need to be that large.
2) arrange the links into a more logical layout.
3) decide what you want on the site before you make it, so that it don't look empty.

I agree with Jeff that the tank image was huge. Also, for the photos and videos section, if you could make links, so we dont have to copy and paste the URL, that would help

Try putting a space between the ) and the http: . Like this:

Hey better job on the site now. Sorry about my last post. Went over board :) hey on the navigation bar (the left bar on your site) Theres 2 HOME buttons... so remove one and bring the HOME up. and By the way... can you please post the direct link of the software you used to build this website? and for News and events.... you can go to Thread "Tournaments and Games" to recieve updates on games and for news you can just use the tread "NEWS" or go to

my.bzflag.org

and from there you can probably then copy and paste the news.

Good luck!

Right now, your links are looking like this in the source code:

Code: Select all

<div>4)http://my.bzflag.org/bb/download.php?id=9562</div>
They should look like this to make them links:

Code: Select all

<div>4)<a href="http://my.bzflag.org/bb/download.php?id=9562">http://my.bzflag.org/bb/download.php?id=9562</a></div>
Of course, you cold put anything you want between the <a></a> tags, so long as the href="" property is filled in with the proper address inside the open tag.

Of course, I'm assuming you can edit the source code :)

It looks nice for a start, however it could use some more planning and focus.

P.S. I like the logo, did you make it yourself?

It was the old forum logo, IIRC.

Not to bad. :)

However, I've seen alot of sites like yours around and none that last.
So, be creative and interesting, that would make people want to come back.

Just some things, spelling is still an issue. You misspelled "Also" on your front page :) lol

I wouldn't suggest writting "Welcome all to the BAD Bzflag fansite", because if makes people think (or it was the first impression I got) that even you don't like your own creation lol
Unless that's the title of the site or the direction you want it to go.

*BAD BZFlag!*
Down and Dirty.

Or, you know? Something like that lol.

Jeff brought up a very good point when he said:
decide what you want on the site before you make it, so that it don't look empty.

It's a great way to get to "BZFlags" name out there. If you'd like I could help you work on it.
