BZFlag on 10.5.5 Santa Rosa Platform Macbooks

Post by Dr Robotnik »

Well, it has horrid issues, like gosting. Apples 10.5.5 update fixed the Intel x3100 drivers, and in all other programs the graphics are faster, smoother and just all around better. Except for BZFlag.

Any short term solutions?

We're aware of the issue.

To my knowledge no one is working on it at this time. You're welcome to make a debug build, and try to trace the issue yourself... Not sure if any developers even have any Macbooks.

Now it works.... Seems intermittent. Perhaps it was BZFlags allergic reaction to the better drivers?

It may be a one time thing.

To "fix" the problem, you should disable smoothing in the Display Options.

That doesn't completely fix it, but it does make it a bit easier to live with it.
