key mapping in 1.9

Post by jbennyh »

The latest version, 1.9.8, doesn't seem to store changes to the key mappings like the previous versions did. Is there anyway to use the previous user config file (bzflag.bzc, I think) in the new client?

1.9.8 doesn't seem to store any changes whatsoever, including callsign, team, server, GUI settings, etc. It reads them fine but doesn't update the settings file if you change them.

It saves all changes for me (although the old keybindings are not always erased, so I sometimes end up with two keys bound to the same command - this is a known bug). This is on Linux.

I'm on Windows XP. I can change all the settings manually but if I do it from the GUI they don't stick.
