Menu screen unreadable?

Menu screen unreadable?

Well this happen to me twice now. During the first time i installed BZFlag and run the menu was readable. The next few weeks about 1 to 2 the next time i open the app the menue was unreadable is a bunch of streaks where the words were. All this happen when i downlad the latest version.
Is there anyway to fix this? :book:

did u by anychance download the wrong version for ur computer?

Can you check your BZFlag's configuration file for a line like "set useBitmapFontRenderer 1" please?
If there's no such line or it has been commented out by a "#", try this setting and start your BZFlag client. If you can read the menu's text then, feel free to use the forum's search (keyword "useBitmapFontRenderer") for further information to solve your issue properly.

Another chance is to rename your configuration file. The BZFlag client will create a new one with default settings then. This helps in all cases of misconfiguration.

Please give a reply if both ideas didn't work for you.

Well I searched the fourm and went to my BzFlag files,but the config thing and is says"windows can not open file" :book:

Open it with notepad, or texteditor or whatever.
