Ducati League presents: The Chesval Cup

The first "Ducati Chesval Cup" is coming soon. Here a quick information:

What is the Chesval Cup?
The Chesval Cup is a 10 vs. 10 "Duc-Style" funmatch between the two major continents where BZFlag players originate: Europe and North America. The winner of the Chesval Cup is the team who wins 2 matches out of 3.

Why do we call it "Chesval Cup"?
It's called "Chesval Cup" because the two founders of the Duc-League were "Chestal" and "Valoche".

Thought I'd reply since this topic looked lonely

Glad to see ducati league getting involved in similar fun that the GU League has been fortunate enough to have; hopefully this will spark a new vigor for activity around the league.

Will it be the standard size ducati map, or will a larger playing field be used? I think there was somewhere a ducati map hosted at dub.bzflag.org (forgot port) with a larger map.

We played a 7v7 yesterday on dub:99 and it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to the real thing.

Dub 5157 it says bigger ducati, not sure if its map size or player count difference. Map seemed larger though, not sure.

Map size will be standard. There is a new server, Quol had set up: quol.bzflag.bz:59996. Thanks buddy.
