Jumping or not?

Alright, what's everyone's take on jumping to avoid shots?
Don't do it at all?
Or only in extreme circumstances?

I've seen a lot of people do it (and have done it myself).

Only jump if it's the only way to get out of dieing. If you can, dodge the shots or hide behind (or in) an object. Jumping to avoid being shot will almost always involve getting killed if you play in a league or against skilled players.

Don't jump if you can avoid it.
