We are running a autoreport plugin as a demonstration on 2 servers with a ducati style map:
showdown.bzflag.net:4360 (in USA) and vps2.moooo.org:4360 (in EUROPE)
To declare a match as official, one member of each team has to run command /official. The declaration can be canceled with command /cancel. Then, you have to run the countdown command as usual. For testing, you have to create a team in showdown.bzflag.net.
I would be very grateful if you could test it (I think it is bug free, but who does know)
enjoy

# the fallback mechansim if a match isnt reported by the plugin and
a message is sent to players, to alert them something happened
a bzmail is sent to admins with the available informations
# how do you verify whether the match is recorded and reported correctly?
i do not understand...the match is reported or it is not reported at all...it cannot be not correctly reoported
Are you asking if the plugin can be fooled? I do not think so. In any case, it would work better than the plugin used in OL

Re: free demonstration

Re: free demonstration
@ zac: in previous showdown, we first used the Openleague plugin for autoreport (thank you brad for giving me the code). Unfortunately, it could be easily fooled. For this reason, I wrote a new one from scratch. One evolution of this plugin is actually running on showdown servers. So yes, it has been fixed.Other bugs of this plugin has been fixed too
Actually, I am working on a new concept so I had to turn off the official match server.... they will be back soon
