I see you used "Elevators and Escalators" by flying_popcorn.
As specified in the original mapfile, you need include credit

If you don't, my best bet is your IP will no longer be able to advertise on the list server due to copyright infringement.#Map created by flying_popcorn

Re: for all wings lovers
Not only the copied map, but I feel it is my duty to inform you that the server suffers from high lag. All players had packet-loss when I was there, and people were pretending to be sever owners when I was asking questions. Please keep in mind, packet-loss makes the game unplayable.

If you are hosting a game server off your home connection you will almost always be unable to hold more than 5 players.

You either need a new ISP or to find someone to host it for you.Mitch Buchannon wrote:ty. i'll try to fix the packetloss

Re: for all wings lovers
Server packetloss sounds like you are running the server from WiFi, which is always a bad idea when serving or playing realtime first person games.
Although you could find someone to host it for you, like mrapple said; there are a couple of organisations around here who do bzfs-hosting for free.

Re: for all wings lovers
which could have one of these reasons:Mitch Buchannon wrote:nobody responses...
- Nobody has time over christmas
- Nobody wants to host your map (maybe nobody who hosts has seen it)
- Everybody thinks someone else is going to host it
- You did something wrong (inproper messages, bad language, bad behavior) (no offense, just saying)
Re: for all wings lovers
You might be violating the license for" Elevators and Escalators". The license is "Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported", which means you have to provide credit (attribution), you cannot use it commercially (which you aren't, so you're good there), and that no derivative works can be made (which you are violating if you altered, transformed, or built upon the work in any way).
I would suggest you read the licenses for the map(s) you are using and ensure that you are not violating them.

That's breaking the licenseMitch Buchannon wrote:Ive changed map.
You wouldn't have jitter if it was hosted on a half-way decent server.Mitch Buchannon wrote:I´ve tried to fix some jitter... 10 to 12ms is too much?
Re: for all wings lovers
I assumed when he said "Ive changed map" that he switched to a different map.
The jitter could be any number of things. If you're running the server over wifi, that could cause it. If the server is running on the same computer that runs a graphical client, that could do it too. If you are downloading or doing anything else on your network, that could add jitter.
